About the Presenters

Kim A. Casci Palangio 
A native of Rhode Island, Kim has worked since January 2019 as the R.I. Program Manager and more recently as Assistant VP of Victim Services for the Cybercrime Support Network. R.I. served as the pilot program for CSN and was the first state in the nation to offer cybercrime services for individuals and small to medium sized businesses in partnership with the United Way through the 211 phone system.

Rachel Ferdinandi

Rachel has served as the United Way of Rhode Island 211’s Cybercrime Specialist since April 2019, helping Rhode Islanders report and recover from cyber incidents. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s of Science. The United Way of Rhode Island 211 was the first 211 in the country to partner with the Cybercrime Support Network to provide this service.
