About the presenter

Melissa Pincince is a Registered Dietitian who began working with the SNAP-Ed Program in 2008. She started here as a graduate research assistant through the University of Rhode Island’s combined Dietetic Internship Master of Science program. Melissa specializes in adult and senior nutrition, and in 2014 became a Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educator (CDOE). She also has experience in both one-on-one and group nutrition counseling in a private practice setting. Melissa loves spending time with her family and close friends. She enjoys being active outdoors, trying new recipes, and reading in her free time.
