Matter of Balance Series

Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. “Matter of Balance” series to be held at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center starting Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 from 12:15-2:45 p.m. Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. During these 6 workshops you will learn to: view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, exercise to increase strength and balance and combat fear of falling. Classes will take place on Wednesdays, 12:15-2:15 p.m. from September 18th-November 6th.
