Senior Agenda Coalition of R.I. names Cindy Coyne as Executive Director

The Senior Agenda Coalition of Rhode Island has appointed Cindy Coyne, a former State Senator, as its new executive director. Commencing her role on July 17, Coyne has a strong background in advocating for older adults and previously served on the organization’s Board of Directors.

The Senior Agenda Coalition is dedicated to improving the long-term care system in the state through community organizing and advocacy efforts. Coyne’s passion was evident during her tenure as a four-term State Senator, where she championed policy changes to support older RI’ers. As the new Executive Director, she is enthusiastic about leading and advancing the organization’s mission to enhance the lives of Rhode Island’s older adults and their caregivers.

Coyne brings an impressive academic background, holding a B.A. in Economics & Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and a B.S. in Administration of Justice from Roger Williams University. Read more about Coyne here.
