The Meritorious Program Award is presented to groups that have made significant contributions to the advancement of public health in Rhode Island at the federal, state, or local level. This recognition from RIPHA, an affiliate of the American Public Health Association, validates the impact of Age-Friendly Rhode Island’s work across communities throughout the state. We’re deeply thankful for this recognition and the partnerships that make our work possible. As we continue, we’re grateful for the support of our partners, community members, and organizations like RIPHA who share our vision for a healthier Rhode Island.
