Maureen Maigret is Vice Chair of RI Long Term Care Coordinating Council and chairs its Aging in Community Subcommittee. She is a former Director of RI Department of Elderly Affairs and ten-year member of RI House of Representatives. As Policy Director for former Lt. Governor Charles Fogarty she developed annual long term care action plans and crafted major health/long term care legislation. Author of several data and research reports on older Rhode Islanders. Maigret worked for 20 years as a practicing RN. Holds BS and MPA degrees.
