Accessible RI Launches New Website

Thanks to a grant from the Rhode Island Foundation, staff and volunteers at the MS Dream Center, and input from the many people with disabilities, a new Accessible RI website is launched: www.access-ri.org.

The site provides accessibility information for over 1500 venues covering dining, wellness, cultural, recreational and other places of interest in our state. All have been surveyed on site according to the guidelines for identifying accessibility outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.

The new site is mobile friendly and features new accessibility features for enlarging fonts, changing contrast, and more.
