4. Planning and assessment tools to use as you proceed
It is our goal in this section to provide you with the tools needed to move forward with your Age-Friendly initiative and to assess the needs, health status, and overall well-being of the older adults in your community. Following are resources to help you survey, assess needs, and create action plans from your older adults needs-based assessments.

The 2020 Rhode Island Healthy Aging Data Report is designed to help residents, agencies, providers, and governments understand the older adults who live in their cities and towns - their ages, living arrangements, health status, strengths, and vulnerabilities. To "drill down" to community-specific data choose TECHNICAL REPORT, DATA SOURCES, AND METHODS from the menu on the left side of the page. Once you select TECHNICAL REPORT, DATA SOURCES, AND METHODS you will be given the option to select by town or zip code.
