About the Program
Participants will meet a diverse group of leaders from across the state working on challenges related to transportation, food insecurity, arts and culture, housing, and more. In addition, participants will expand their civic possibilities by learning different ways to engage with their interests and passions at the state and local level.
Selected participants will meet once a week on Tuesdays from June 13th to August 8th (expecting the week of July 4th). All meetings will take place at the Leadership Rhode Island office in Providence, except the final gathering on August 8th, which will take place at the Rhode Island State House.
Unless otherwise noted, all sessions will take place at the Leadership Rhode Island office in Providence from 9am to 1pm.

Leadership Rhode Island works to build a Rhode Island that is flourishing – economically, civically, culturally – built on a foundation of ever-improving human capital whose strengths and potential we spend each day revealing and igniting.
Based at Rhode Island College, Age-Friendly Rhode Island is a coalition of community and state agencies, healthcare and social service providers, individuals of all ages, advocacy and faith-based organizations, businesses, academic institutions and municipal leaders who are committed to healthy aging.
