Pawtucket Declares Commitment to Becoming Age-Friendly

In an exciting move towards fostering a more inclusive community, the City of Pawtucket has taken a significant step in prioritizing the well-being of its older residents. Mayor Donald Grebien and Director of Senior Services, Mary Lou Moran, officially signed a resolution committing Pawtucket to becoming an Age-Friendly city. The initiative, supported by representatives from the Office of Healthy Aging and Age-Friendly Rhode Island, signals the city’s dedication to creating a supportive environment that addresses the needs of older adults while promoting healthy aging.

It’s a great day for aging well in Pawtucket! Pawtucket has officially signed the AARP resolution designating the city as an Age-Friendly community.
