SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS IN LATER LIFE – A Free Mini-Conference at Rhode Island College – April 18, 2018
The level of our connections with other humans has a profound influence on adding years to our lives and life to our years and will be explored through a film and three sessions at the conference. The documentary “The Age of Love,” which follows older adults still searching for romance, will be shown. Following the screening, two consecutive workshop sessions enable participants to learn about the nature of long-term relationships among older couples, examine approaches to talking about sex and understand civic engagement, its benefits and local programs that promote intergenerational bonds.
