URI is coordinating an upcoming educational series for older adults that aims to enhance the self efficacy of participants by providing them evidence based tools for managing health and well-being.  The free workshop convenes every Tuesday for 6 weeks starting October 8th from 1pm-3:30pm and will be held at the Nardone Conference Center in Westerly Hospital. Some topics that will be covered include:

• Symptom managementWorkshop Title
• Improving sleep
• Medication management
• Nutrition
• Improving communication with family and doctors
• Use of action plans and problem-solving for more confident decision-making
