Dismantling Ageism in the Pandemic? Old School Has Resources to Help

Old School is a clearinghouse of free and carefully vetted resources to educate people about ageism and help dismantle it. You’ll find blogs, books, articles, videos, speakers, and other tools (workshops, handouts, curricula etc.) that are accessible to the general public on the site. Their goal is to help catalyze a movement to make ageism (discrimination on the basis of age) as unacceptable as any other kind of prejudice. This clearinghouse is the brainchild of anti-ageism activist Ashton Applewhite of This Chair Rocks, who created it with Ryan Backer and Kyrié Carpenter.

Old School Tackles the Pandemic

The pandemic has exposed the ageism and ableism around us—and given us a historic opportunity to build on that awareness. That’s why they have worked to carefully curate the best info out there on how to mobilize against ageism during—and after—the pandemic. Check out COVID-related resources from around the world in a new, dedicated section.
