FSRI’s Be Safe Campaign: A community response for needy families during the COVID-19 pandemic

Family Service of Rhode Island is happy to partner with Age-Friendly RI to share a critical resource for older RI’ers amid this pandemic.

FSRI, a statewide non-profit, is asking for help to provide supplies to help Rhode Islanders “be safe” from COVID-19. Your donation supports the purchase of antibacterial soap, disinfecting wipes, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, food and grocery supplies and other items that socially isolated seniors, adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities, families with children, and others desperately need right now to protect themselves and reduce the rate of COVID-19 transmission. FSRI is doing curbside delivery of these kits across the state.

How can I help?

Businesses that wish to partner with FSRI should contact Maggie Slane, VP of Advancement, at slanema@familyserviceri.org or 401-331-1350 ext. 3840. Community members should text BESAFE to 44321 or click here to help provide “Be Safe Kits” to Rhode Islanders in need.
