Town Hall conversations hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association: Please share with your networks

More than 23,000 Rhode Islanders are living with Alzheimer’s disease. With the aging of our population this number is expected to climb in the next few years. Our cities, towns and our state will need to take action—and we need community input.  Thus, the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting a series of free town hall conversations open to anyone with an interest — persons living with dementia, family and professional caregivers, health and long term care workers, curious citizens, students, state and local legislators, community leaders and first responders. Register HERE or RSVP at ercreamer@alz.org

We encourage you attend and share with your network because participation is vital to making these events a success. There are various other conversations that will be held throughout the year, including 3 more this month (see schedule below). If you can’t make one of these events, please reach out to to the Alzheimer’s Association and provide your thoughts on what can be done in our state.
